Life is fragile...

This photo of Oma Saie (my grand aunt or Rachel's Oma) and I was taken almost 365 days ago. Rachel messaged me earlier today to inform me of her passing. There was one statement Oma Saie said to me when I visited her last year that really stuck with me, "this might be the last time I see you Ray..." Both Rachel and I told her not to be silly; and considering that I'll be back in LA later next month I thought that I'd get a chance to visit her again. But life is fragile and you never know what's going to happen next. Every moment you are alive is a gift. My revelation for today; cherish very moment you have with the ones you love...
