Last night we had dinner with Hsin Hui and Matt at Sushi Tei; they are also expecting their first child a month after us. It's always good to catch up with them, a couple we get along with really well. Great part is Matt & I were able to enjoy the sashimi, beer & sake together...

No toilet seat this year...

Went to the A-League grand final today & we didn't get the result we wanted. Just wasn't our year to win the grand final, but we are the premiers (which in football worlds is what's important) & grand finalist in our maiden year. So congrats to the Central Coast Mariners for winning the "toilet seat" and it's onwards and upwards for the Wanderers...

We didn't make the playoffs and we lost out last 13 games, but that doesn't matter as this was a rebuilding year. With a core of Lillard, Aldridge, Batum & Matthews bring on next season. As Batum said, " We're a top 5 team in the west next year"...

Finally a victory! Timbers' defeated Houston Dynamos 2-nil. How the Timbers' are traveling this season reminds me a lot of how the Wanderers 2012/13 A-League season. Now we know how that ended...
