Nissan is back...

After a 20 year hiatus, Nissan is back in the ATCC (Australian Touring Car Championship); the V8 Supercars to be exact. Yesterday Nissan Motorsport (also known as Kelly Racing) launched their challenger yesterday, the Nissan Altima. I think my loyalty will revert back to Nissan now in V8 Supercars...

Giants are kings of baseball...

Too much celebrating that I forgot to blog. But here it is; Giants win their second World Series in three years! World champions! We are the kings of baseball! How ever you would like to word it, it all says the same. WE ARE THE BEST...

All come together...

Why do I follow so many sports team? I don't know why, but I know this. The Urawa Red Diamonds are the first team I truly support! I might have followed other teams for a longer period of time, but the to the Reds I have always remained loyal...

Finally a victory...

It's taken four weeks for us to score a goal, but it made it all so much sweeter that it was the winning goal for our first ever A-League victory! A 1-0 win over the Brisbane Roar! Mark Bridge scored WSWFC's first ever A-League goal in the 19min of the match. Lets hope we don't have to wait too long for our second goal...

The re-launch of urdblog...

Since I have to rest and not be on my feet, what else would I be doing them being in front of a computer! What I did in front of the computer was re-design my urdblog | blogging red (a blog dedicated to the Urawa Red Diamonds). This blog has gone through several hiatuses due to holiday (to lazy to start blogging after a holiday), work (too busy with what I'm being paid to do) or just plain laziness. Cain & Pence...

Matt Cain has been with the SF Giants since 2005 and Hunter Pence has only been acquired a few months ago. I'd consider both of them to be my favorite players in baseball & more importantly the both of them played a big role in capturing the NL Pennant! Bring on the World Series...

Before I "100%" followed the Western Sydney Wanderers FC, Shinji Ono was the reason. Now that I obtained his autograph, I can safely say I'm part of the red & black side of Sydney! I'm looking forward to tomorrow's first ever Sydney derby where our first ever victory is (hopefully) signed, sealed and delivered...

Hong Kong has only been a recent discovery for me, but what can I say, it's another one of my favorite cities in the world. The food is great, the shopping is great but best of all, everything there compared to Sydney is cheap...

Sydney is famous for its "Habour Bridge", but it's the other bridge that I've used almost everyday for over a decade. The Anzac Bridge isn't as famous, but for me at least it's just as, if not more important then the old coat hanger...

Only in Japan! Yodobashi Camera is like nothing we can find in Australia. They sell everything from mobile phones, white goods, toys, electronic goods, watches, of cause as the name would suggest cameras and many more other items I can't be bothered to list! This particular Yodobashi at Umeda (Osaka) was my first, but for me it's still the best...

So Ci & I are in the process of wanting to build our house. So the first step had been looking at all the houses out there. We've been doing it for about a month or so and there are a few we really like. The Bedarra 33 is one of the ones we are considering...

So it begins...

The club was born on the 24th May 2012 and today (6th October 2012) the club played its first ever A-League match in front of 10,458 people at the place we like to call Wanderland. The club is the Western Sydney Wanderers FC...

Street food: delicious...

When in Hong Kong, one needs to eat some street food. They are absolutely yummy! It may not be the healthiest or the most hygienic food, but what they lack there they more then make up in taste...

These three boys live in a far far away land called Port Macquarie, but they do come down to Sydney every once in a while. So when Jay, Jon & Max comes down, we all want to pay a visit to the mischievous three...

Richards and Skaife...

When I first knew of touring cars back in the early 90's, Jim Richards & Mark Skaife was the dominating force in their Nissan Skyline GT-R. I'm very excited that Nissan is returning to the Australian touring car scene in 2013, though don't know if I should align myself with Nissan or stick with HRT or find another team altogether...

Good public transport...

Is there actually such a thing? Well in my experience, the MTR in Hong Kong is just that. Yes during peak/rush times it is packed, but train runs on time and it's convenient to use...

Texans from the beginning...

The Houston Texans has been my NFL team since their beginning as you may know; and one player has been a Texans for almost as long. That player is wide receiver Andre Johnson, who's already a Texans legend!. So when it came to choosing a Texans jersey, it was an obvious choice as to who's number I'd be representing...
